Soil Blocking All Day And All Night

Todd's woodshop went from being a woodshop, to a mechanics shop, and now a workspace for the farm.  He is pressing our cow-manure-compost soil into molded blocks into which our future plants set their roots.  We grow most everything inside under fluorescent lighting to start.  The roots of the seedlings (like those of these baby kale sprouts) will eventually move right to the edges of the blocks, ready for the field.
